Adhering to the principles of socially responsible banking, TuranBank has launched another charity initiative by organizing a camp for lonely elderly people as part of the "Corporate DOST" subprogram of the DOST Agency.
In collaboration with the "Könüllü DOST" program of the DOST Agency, the Bank hosted the training and creative camp at the Zira Ecopark. The camp was designed to provide effective leisure activities and foster a sense of community for elderly individuals over the age of 65. Activities included a yoga master class, an excursion to the Carpet Museum and the Orchid House, a film screening at the Ecopark's cinema, and chess competitions for 30 elderly participants. At the end of the camp, symbolic gifts were presented to the participants as part of the social project.
The main objective of this initiative is to enhance the knowledge and skills of lonely elderly people, helping them adapt to the modern environment, share their experience with younger generations, and promote a "community of equals." The project also aimed to organize quality leisure activities and strengthen relationships with both state and private organizations within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
It is important to note that TuranBank consistently focuses on vulnerable groups within society as part of its CSR efforts. The bank actively participates in initiatives that meet the needs of families of martyrs and veterans and is committed to environmental preservation. Going forward, TuranBank will continue to bring smiles to the faces of vulnerable groups by organizing campaigns to address their needs.
